Edward joined ShareInvestor Malaysia in 2019. Prior to that, he was the Managing Partner of GolfTribe Sdn Bhd, a tech start-up. Edward is a veteran in the media business having spent over 30 years in the publishing industry. From being part of the pioneer team to launch The Malaysian Tatler in 1989, he went on to help launch The Edge Malaysia in 1994 and The Edge Singapore in 2002. Having spent 14 years in Singapore and a total of 22 years at The Edge Media Group, he retired as the Managing Director in 2016 and relocated to Kuala Lumpur, his hometown to become a full time care-giver to his aged parents.
Being a successful brand builder and a marketing strategist, he brings to ShareInvestor his vast experience to grow the company to the next level as a leading provider of Online Investor Relations services to PLCs and Stock Market Data Analytics (SAAS) & Investor Education for Retail Investors. And to also establish ShareInvestor as a well-regarded media owner by the launching of Inve$t, a weekly publication on investing.
